The Mariano Matamoros Theater began a renovation at 2009 with a planned inauguration in 2010, however the construction stopped because political issues and alleged lack of monetary funds.
The renovation stopped years ago, now in 2015 everything stills the same without changes, only left the spaces and the silence that inhabits them.
